Seat 

A sublime late spring evening picnic.

Still cool enough to need winter quantity clothing, but warm enough to be able to linger (briefly!)

Lunch

Best (if a little pricey) pies on the Isle of Skye, saddened to hear the owners

decided to close their lovely shop and bakery

choosing to do Yoga instead.

Lentil and vegetable curry pie with optional view (but recommended)

Transport

Low tide at Berwick.

Little boats tootle back and forth - not always fishing or tourism,

just tootling.

Hawthorn

it has been beautiful this year 

too beautiful not to notice 

I sat in the dappled shade of a huge and stately hawthorn

whilst waiting for Youngest 

She was beautiful and I was so taken by her blossom 

 Glad my Celtic tree sign is the Hawthorn

flying visit to drop off words

With apologies, I have been a little quiet on the blogging front.

Although I have many stories weaving in and out of my life, some have made me laugh, some made me cry and some have made my heart squeeze, none are suitable to share - for personal reasons, for pride and for some reason - I seem to be unable to find the enthusiasm to blog.

I am not falling off the radar far from it - probably just need a break. 

My art and all things art have taken over at the moment - most of my day is making/painting/sketching and creating and in the evenings when I used either blog or knit - I sketch, sketch, sketch.

Any hoo - I am still here, 

just probably in the summerhouse with a furrowed brow,

pencil grasped lightly,

radio on and a mug of tea.
