If someone had told me the sound was war drums, I would have found that more plausible than Emus.

It is a true treat to hear some of the sounds that nature produces.Audryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13934284269652163977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-47756180445220410172014-05-05T22:27:10.032+01:002014-05-05T22:27:10.032+01:00Strange sound, no wonder you did not recognise it....Strange sound, no wonder you did not recognise it. Interesting design on that hat. I love those belted Galloways too. Sounds like it was a good walk. xJakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01289130103691572154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-18742919081693410152014-05-05T17:38:46.506+01:002014-05-05T17:38:46.506+01:00I have never heard that sound either, well done fo...I have never heard that sound either, well done for tracking it down. I have been listening out for the different bird calls whilst out walking this weekend.
Nice hat!Jacquelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05166927011486659586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-35761685963895486632014-05-04T23:38:46.263+01:002014-05-04T23:38:46.263+01:00The hat looks great Hawthorn - looks to me like th...The hat looks great Hawthorn - looks to me like the pattern would need a bit of concentration but obviously easy for you - well done - and it's such a lovely blue! I am always happy to see the belted Galloways, such bonnie cows, and hearing the snipe must have been quite an experience for you all! Ah, your walks are always magic and I do enjoy them, thanks so much! Take care of that knee - I'm nursing a bad one too which will need to be fixed up sooner or later, but I'm trying to avoid it! They also had alpacas at the fayre - I would love to learn how to spin my own yarn now. Wouldn't it be great to see something you make from fleece to the finished article? I have always wanted to see a snipe. I favourite board game that my sister and I used to play as children was by the RSPB - Conservation - I think you collected rare birds cards. A recall the snipe was worth a lot of points. :)
I'm with you that walking is a great therapy and I find crochet great too. Finding I'm needing to do quite a lot of both at the moment! xSaraJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18090894669938775044noreply@blogger.com
