Just about bordering on odd, I see things through different eyes. The heading says it all - I live, I love, I craft, I am me...

Sunsets

There is something wistful
yet defiant
about a wintery sunset.

There is that metallic tang of cold air
as the sun slips behind the horizon

The sky can be soft shades, pale and pastel
or fiery and vibrant.

As I look at each of these photos, I can feel the icy chill that appears as the winter sun slips away. Although as beautiful as they are - I am looking forward to warmer days as the season turns towards spring.

  1. With busy lives they can be easy to miss, but there is something so special about taking a moment to watch the sunset. X

    1. They were bitterly cold afternoons/evenings and these photos remind me instantly at how cold I was!

  7. I thought I'd already commented on this but I mustn't have done :( It's hard to pick a favourite but I think the second one, I like how the blue sky graduates in colour and how the clouds partially cover the sun :)
