All the 'small things' are indeed great! I love a warm bed too- I am always so grateful when it is bed time!Kezziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15705356707599121605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-48539717601726520892019-12-14T18:12:27.251+00:002019-12-14T18:12:27.251+00:00So true. Which are not small, and not easily available to so many people.

I am grateful, for having a sore throat scare, not turn out to be so!!!! -smile- Went to doctor's and had a throat swab done, and it was not Strep. In fact, it is all gone away. So gladddd!

But glad I went, because at 82, one does not take chances.

ππ²ππ²π wisps of wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12995057494013633705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-29792937081934606492019-12-13T20:29:01.265+00:002019-12-13T20:29:01.265+00:00You are so right with your insights this week &am...You are so right with your insights this week & I wholly agree, especially about dogs & digital photography. I don't have a dog as you know, but seem to attract them when we are out & about. As for cameras, I've had one since I was 10 & enjoy being able to pick & choose what I've taken instead of many disastrous snaps after they've been printed. Thanks again for waking me up to being more grateful. Take care & huggles. I'll pop my link on today on the PC, as I can't get it to work on my tablet.Susan Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11945482062858126629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-32333526521888454282019-12-13T18:10:15.406+00:002019-12-13T18:10:15.406+00:00Beautiful post, Kate. My sleepy brain rarely gets as far as all the 'big' things to be grateful for each day, because I have so many (what are to me) ordinary gratitudes. Safe house, being warm and dry and well fed with clean water on tap, being in good health, being safe, living in a democracy . . . how many millions would consider all that list "big things".

When I hear people bitching and moaning about not having designer shoes, or tickets to a concert, or other things I consider fatuous, I sometimes have great difficulty keeping my mouth shut π€¬

As for your five - the company of a devoted dog. Priceless. πΎππBag End Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06190496929132717769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-31847840942978292292019-12-13T15:11:39.690+00:002019-12-13T15:11:39.690+00:00I have the same bedtime ritual and it is amazing h...I have the same bedtime ritual and it is amazing how often it is the 'normal' things are the things I am most grateful for too. I have never tried cinnamon coffee, but will give it a whirl. Thanks for the idea! If you like hot chocolate try it with a little sprinkling of nutmeg on top for a change. It is delicious.Tracynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7671225480721447118.post-69355187088844450912019-12-13T09:51:00.309+00:002019-12-13T09:51:00.309+00:00Yes it is all too easy to go to a tap and turn it ...Yes it is all too easy to go to a tap and turn it on and out comes clean water; ditto the heating; ditto light etc etc. I heartily vote the joy and gratitude of having a digital camera. I did have a film one and was not very good at it (don't mention aperture, film speed, focal length etc etc!). I bought one on a bit of a whim and I'm now on my fourth one. xThreads through my lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17727102938455568946noreply@blogger.com
