Walking and knitting thankyous and my Advent Count Down 3

Oh thank you my dear sweet bloggy friends- your comments have really made me go squeeeee! I am really taken at the enthusiasm for the knitted bauble. Give me a day or two and I will post the pattern - I've done the chart but just need to type out the 'how to' part - will put in a couple photos too - oooh how exciting!  And hello to more new faces - how happy I feel :)

Advent calender - day 3.

Today is brought to you by the number 3 and Youngest doing what he does best - messing.

Messing about..... since he was a tiny tot he would straddle the bottom rung of the foot bridge and 'stride' across like a crab to the other side.  As he has got taller he has found it easier and easier so he has started going higher up the sides - until his mother screeches at him then he drops back down.....any hoo, where was I - oh yes - 3.  Alongside this very high foot bridge (very much higher than your average foot bridge) is a height marker..... I don't think I'd like to be crossing the bridge when it was in full spate....
A new sign to a small bridge over the river Skirfare near the hamlet of Litton in Littondale.  A wonderful summer Saturday in June.  If you want to see where in the world this little piece of my walking world is follow this link HERE it will take you to Penyghent the hulking hill behind the signpost.

Ta da! Day three done and dusted :)

Joining up with Julie every day as we celebrate the chrimbly count down :)
Why don't you take a look and see who else has joined :)

  4. Hello lovely, just catching up with your advent posts which are a delight but forgive me if I miss a few.
Can't wait for your lovely bauble recipe so to speak, they are wonderful.
If I can be so bold-could you specify what needles are required, they look alien to me as a beginner and wool choices.
    Thank you so much

  6. My son aged 36 would probably try crossing a bridge the same way. Gee that water must get awfully high. Looking forward to that pattern as it would be something small to try. Thanks and take care.
