Ho Ho Ho!

As the wind howls around the house, 

I sit quietly on my own, 

the boys wrapping pressies upstairs,

the cats investigating around the tree. 

We've just returned from my folks 

where we had a wonderful family celebration.

The meal was delicious

 and the obligatory silly party games 

had us laughing out loud.

It is amazing how much fun you get out of wearing a false mustaches and eating green chocolate Brussels sprouts! 

The vintage slide show of various great great grandparents,

grandparents and children was the icing on the cake...

stockings filled,

tree lights out,

we're off to bed.
