In the naughty basket

I want to finish this by December - hopefully sooner, but hey - it has only taken four years (yeah I know.....). However if I take into account the three complete froggings, lost pattern,  replacement pattern and a stint in the naughty WIP basket then may be four years is about right.

So.... any bets?
Will I finish it this time?
Will I finish it full stop?

(gah - I really hope so)

And coz I know you will ask -
Wool - Isle of Auskerry in Slate  (still smells of sheep - yum!)
Pattern - well, the original pattern was lost in the ether, however, the current is 'Dan' From Berroco via Ravelry
Recipient - Himself

    1. I bought my first at (of all the places) the Fossil museum in Orkney and fell in love, bought myself enough to do a jumper directly from the islander/farmer/owner of the sheep. Fast forward a year or two, did the same and then next time I went on line the price had more than doubled. So am eking out the last of the wool for this jumper. I can understand why the price has gone up - not discrediting that, but that made it a bit too expensive for me. (just looked on their site - they have halved the ball size to 50g) Lovely stuff though.

  4. Yeah, go on, finish it!! You know you can :) I have just picked up a x-stitch picture which has been an abandoned UFO for 3 (or maybe 4) years. It was to be a birthday or Christmas present for a good friend. This year it WILL be!

  6. Of course you will finish. I have been known to take 10 years or more to finish something but the feeling I get when it is done and dusted is wonderful. I'm not prepared to say when you will finish as I find LIFE gets in the way.... x
