August has left and it appears that the fading summer decided to go at the same moment. The words are there, they are swirling around in my head however as soon as my fingers try to type them out, they sound/feel inadequate. So I might let them continue to swirl until they find an order that makes more sense.
In the meantime I shall leave you with a photo (or two) from last weekend. I need a shower, I've been gardening today and feel quite grubby.
Sewing
Cooling off
Discovering
Loving
I shall just leave you with this conundrum.
How big a stick is too big? .....

The seasons are definitely turning, in the north we are rolling towards autumn and in the south towards spring - may be because the seasons are neither here nor there, almost in limbo, that is has made me feel the same way. I am sure that once I have come to terms that autumn has stepped in through the door, my words will flow once more - until then dear ones, stay safe xxx
Thanks for the words; can't believe we are into September; the summer (whenever it was) has definitely 'gone'.
ReplyDeleteYes, rain pelting down and fire lit, autumn had made her self at home!x
DeleteStick discussion; if it can be picked up, it is not too big. If jaws can hold it, it is not too big. Just don't expect doors/gates/entrances to be easily passed through!
ReplyDeletePerfect argument, Moss could not have woofed it better herself!
DeleteLove the stick πΎπ With shared Otter-DNA and a serious stick obsession, she and Ollie would have got on so well. xx
ReplyDeleteAutumn here too - curtains drawn for the first time this year, wind & rain are currently pelting down on the windows.
That would have been lovely, Ollie and Moss and a plethora of sticks and rivers! Yes, our fire has been crackling away since mid afternoon, Moss has spent most of that time snoozing with the cats in front of the wood burner x
DeleteLovely selection of photos - and as ever Moss is the star! Definite sense of limbo, as you say. xx
ReplyDeleteWent out walking today with a dear friend, to help shift those autumnal blues and whilst we were out, it rained, it blew, it was cold but it was good - it certainly helped!
DeleteThank you for our list Kate & I hear what you are saying with finding words & motivation to blog, but I'm trying hard as I'd like to keep my lovely blogpals & I know we are all in this together, wherever we live. One day there may be some normality to our lives & I'm trying to stay busy & get fresh air whilst walking & into the countryside on the town outskirts for half hour too. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos, take care, stay safe & huggles.
ReplyDeleteTake one day at a time, practise self care, it will become more stable, stay safe x
DeleteI've not rushed into my usual length blog posts this week as haven't had the oomph, but it will return if I give myself a break. Arilx
ReplyDeleteI know what your mean, I've felt that same, so short posts to keep in touch x
DeleteNo stick is ever too big. CN x
