Even the cat was happy

It was one of those unexpectedly good weekends.
One full of family and mugs of tea.
Where we ate cake and flapjacks in the garden and dodged wasps.
A weekend with a houseful and a very happy dog.

The cat was rather pleased too,
which is quite something knowing her 'usual prickly purr-sonality' ...
Although Eldest was away due to work commitments,
we kept in touch and sent him loads of photos.
The weather wasn't that brilliant,
nor are the photographs
but the memories will be :)

Happy Monday

    1. I love harebells with a tinge of melancholy as they are end of summer flowers and the early heralds of autumn and today as I walked out into the garden - there was the first feeling of autumn in the air

    1. I agree - a good weekend sets you up for the rest of the week (and yes we are very much the lesser species when it comes to that cat!)

  3. Oh, how lovely & to see the pets enjoying themselves too. Still no visitors allowed here, so good to see people out & about elsewhere. Take care & hugs.

  7. Yes it was a good weekend, and we loved sharing part of it and seeing the family together, even if Eldest was missing. The new flapjaks were delicious too. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿ˜พ xx

    1. She has perfected that look - but it is more condescending than wise .... humans are a lesser species and she knows it.

  10. Lovely! Moss takes the biscuit and Pan is purr-fect. Hoomans can queue up behind Moss and Pan. What flapjack recipe was that? I'm still searching for my perfect flapjack recipe! x
