Hopefully this will do too - fuzzy bee-bums - yes they are a 'thing' and today at work I managed to get a couple of photos of just that very thing .....
Just look at those little fuzzy leggies hanging out backwards while the bumble is buried deep in the nasturtium.๐
The world needs more fuzzy bee-bums๐๐❤️
you can thank me later xxxxx

I love a fuzzy bee-bum, and there are plenty in the garden just now. Xx
ReplyDeleteYay! it such a delightful thing to watch ๐๐
DeleteLovely photos, well done.
ReplyDeleteWe also have many fuzzy-bums as they disappear head first into the foxgloves.
thank you - it is the first time I have managed to capture said fuzzy-bums and I can not believe how happy it has made me ๐๐
DeleteLove it!!!! But......we don't have bumble bees & our honey & native bees just don't have the fuzziest of bums. Thank you for making me smile. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that you didn't have bumbles, but see that there are some in Tasmania (introduced) and NZ, odd that Australia doesn't have them.
DeleteHappy bees!
ReplyDeletehappy bees indeed!
DeleteI love those fat little bee-bums! xxx
ReplyDeleteMe too :) I love the 'busy'ness of them as they go round the garden ๐๐งก
DeleteI love bumble bees but never thought of them in this way. I must remember to take a closer look whenever I see some in the flowers :)
ReplyDeleteIf you get a moment - watch them - I love that they can 'unattach' their wings and rattle their wing muscles to encourage flowers to release the pollen - when you hear that higher pitch buzzzzzzz when they are buried in the flower - that is what is happening!
DeleteFabulous photos, I love to watch the bees busy at work, thank you for your visit today it's great that you found that cross stitch in a charity shop, I can't wait to start sewing mine.
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda - have fun doing your cross-stitch - it is such a lovely picture ๐๐ค๐
DeleteOur Fuzzy bee bums are loving the poppies at the moment :)
ReplyDeleteooh I love that image!
DeleteThis post has made me smile too! I love fuzzy-bee bums; thankfully I've plenty in my garden but they don't seem to pose as well as yours! x
