Another drab day and if I sit here any longer I shall just fuse to the chair - so - best get on, got a tick list as long as my arm again.
What are you gently procrastinating over? Go on, tell me, then I won't feel so bad that I am actively avoiding eye contact with said list!!
Speak soon - lots to do xxxxx
I'm procrastinating on tidying the spare room, something I've been meaning to do for ages but somehow 'more important' things seem to take preference! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm procrastinating over polishing the internal doors in my house. They are Sapele veneer. I know a lot of people don't like them and rip them out, but I think the stripy pattern of the woodgrain is really interesting. They do go dull and need polishing a couple of times a year though. If only I could tear myself away from the internet and go and do it!
ReplyDeletethat made me chuckle - I have internet attachment problems too!
DeletePutting the paint pots away....on the list chiding me!

Oh the to-do lists, the bane of my life! I too have internal doors with glass panels that need cleaning and we'll not talk about the windows and externals doors.... On a positive note, I've a craft to-do list which is great!
ReplyDeleteProcrastination is my middle name.
ReplyDelete1. To join a quilt group either on the internet or here in Melbourne?
2. Writing emails & keeping in touch with family & friends far away.
3. Is housework, gardening or quilting more important?
My dilemmas that only I can fix. Other opinions do help though sometimes.
Take care and big huggles from down under. BTW, cold, miserable & possible snow today on the higher peaks of our High Country and its November.
What a splendid question . . . but you won't get a straight answer from me
ReplyDeleteI realised a while ago that if I don't do something for ages then there is usually a good reason - a reason somewhere along the lines of 'whatever it is really isn't important enough for me to care about extracting the digit, so I'll do something which matters more instead'. Or sometimes (lots of the time) I can blame the weather. I am, however, very interested to read what tasks everyone else has hanging over them :-}
House cleaning!!!!!!! That's what has been on my list, for a couple of days. But!!!! We had doc/dentist appointments, and........... They went well, but the List is still there. -grin-
ReplyDeleteOh well, tomorrow!
We both like 'neat' so we keep it thus. But it does need a clean!
Hope you did better than I did today, with your list!!!
Oh and thank you for leaving a comment on my blog!

I have a few letters I need to write, they have been on my list for weeks and I haven't got round to them yet. I need to be in the right frame of mind to get on with it and that has not happened yet. My mum calls it displacement activity when you do everything other than the things on your lists.
ReplyDeleteMy list of things to do.....actually don't have a written list but perhaps I should. Like Susan my name should have been procrastination.....photographs to finish sorting, cupboards to sort things for Charity shop, computer photographs to finish scanning and sorting, garden needs finally putting to bed for winter - and then the everyday things like right now the washing machine has stopped so I should see to that. Better stop writing lists, gets depressing.
ReplyDeleteLove the purple hay wraps. Where did you see them? xx❤
I procrastinate over most things but this week I have been putting off going into town to drop off a bag at the charity shop. The weather is too damp and miserable. X
