Day 26 of my first blogtober attempt and this evening I really don't have much to talk about....
Today was busy and I managed to work both gardening sessions - the morning one was delayed and accompanied by rain and a lovely friend while the afternoon garden was battered by high winds and filled with laughter.
'It is trying to climb out of it's pot, I've never seen one trying to move out by itself'....
...and they were not wrong! The poor thing had pushed itself out of the terracotta pot by it's incredible mass of roots.
Any hoo - shall leave it here - I have a mug of tea waiting for me and I am about to watch #SHOTY (Scotland's House of the Year) which we both thoroughly enjoy. Till tomorrow when hopefully I'll have something a little more interesting to say!

Isn’t it funny how sometimes we say we have nothing interesting to say and then to other people it’s actually really interesting 😃. All of my houseplants are in desperate need of repotting and reviving. It’s a job I didn’t do this year … or last, even though I had houseplant compost delivered during lockdown as I thought it would be a good job to keep me occupied. I will probably wait till the spring now and hope they all last until then 🤞

That's true - a card, once you start writing, is never big enough!
DeleteI've seen some very congested Chlorophytum in my time but that is the best ever. Poor plant!!🥀 No wonder it was complaining!! Those thick fleshy roots definitely take up lots of space. Having grown them in the garden I can remember how they spread out in the soil. 🧡 xx
