No - don't worry we've not experienced a time jump straight to December however we did make four in the end. They were part of a staff workshop I gave to show how to make wreaths. The real workshops will be starting soon (end of November).
Next week myself and a colleague are off to a neighbouring park armed with secateurs, a flat bed truck (I am not joking) and a council park keeper to cut ourselves enough foliage for fifty folk (not joking about that one either) to make wreaths at our workshops.....
I am now going to lie down in a dark corner to compose myself.......

I love that … it’s beautiful. That will be a lot of greenery to collect … good luck 😃
ReplyDeleteThanks Carol, it is a lot, we've already had a truck load of dog wood and we spent a long time prepping it, I'll be glad when January arrives!
DeleteI read that last bit as "compost myself" lol
ReplyDeleteWhen I typed it.... That is what autocorrect put in for me.... 😄
DeleteThe wreath looks beautiful, Kate. It won't be long now :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jules, that is exactly what I'm worried about, I've gone from summer to December in a blink of an eye here at work!
DeleteVery beautiful. I love pops of color wreaths and swags provide this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sam - I like the scent the greenery brings into the home 💚🎄
DeleteHow many people??? But they are sure to have a wonderful time. Hopefully you'll have time to take a few photos... sorry if this comment is disturbing you as you hide in your dark corner... x
ReplyDeleteLovely and I hope you all have fun. Take care and don't stress.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wreath! Are those long brown feathers or leaves that you have added to your wreath. It is lovely all the same. I did try to make a wreath with a bit of greenery last Christmas but what a fiasco! I am useless doing flower arrangements. I would happily buy one like this if I lived nearby 😊. Keep well Amanda x
