Just about bordering on odd, I see things through different eyes. The heading says it all - I live, I love, I craft, I am me...

I walk. I stop. I see. I knit.

It has been a while,
since my knitting has come walking
with us.

A quick stitch here and
and quick stitch there.

Too cold
to knit for long,
but long enough
to allow
the walk to weave in and out of the stitches,
moss and grass to collect on the knit,
the early spring air to fill the spaces.

I think both both my knitting
and I
feel better
(although I am knackered!)
for being out
and about
on the hills.

Thank you everyone for joining in with March's Scavenger Hunt -
once again I was blown away by
your photos and stories - I love reading each and every one of them.

I will 'release' the next set of words soon!

Edited to add : new list now 'released' and frolicking happily at the top right corner of my blog

  1. That looks a snuggly knit project
    Happy Easter

  2. I knit in the car on long journeys

    Julie xxxx

  3. Brrrr out there. But better weather yesterday than today!

  4. Forgot to say that I'm ready for the next word list!

  5. Great to see you knitting again. Do like that pattern & how pretty it looks against the mossy wall. Now that is a combination I could use in a quilt????? Take care.

  6. Glad knitting is going on a walk again. Coming on nicely. Lovely seeing you all earlier. xxx

  7. Lovely stitchery, my crochet comes with me often. Looking forward to the 'release' x

  8. So nice to accompany you on your walk along with the knitting, which I may add looks very warm .Nice pattern. Everyones photos last month were a treat and I have just written April, note to self do not leave it so near to the day to decide.Enjoy April.

  9. The knitting looks good - I can't knit to save my life, it ends up with so many holes it looks more like crochet!

For some reason I can't add a link to my photo hunt blog page on your blog page - I know I've done it twice before so I must be missing something but I can't see how to do it. I've only just come back from a camping weekend which wasn't the best for several reason so maybe my brain has gone awol - can you explain it please?

    1. Hi, just went to check and see that the link up has closed - which might be why you could not link - so no fear you don't have an awol brain :) I'll add your link to the page for you x

  10. Lovely looking knit pattern - I've never taken the knitting out walking but it goes on lots of car journeys - might try that this month - I love the idea of getting the air into the wool :)

  11. This is a lovely, simple post. I hope your Easter was nice and relaxing.
Hoping to get back into the photo hunt either this month or next :)
