Rainbow #30dayswild 4 & 5

After several weeks of gloriously warm and dry days - we have had some much needed rain - and what follows the rain ? 

Rainbows!

  

 

 

 

 

I am so lucky that my garden is sharing her happiness with us - 

it is so uplifting walking through the paths

accompanied by a low hum

of hundreds of bees.

 And our 'resident' squirrel continues to grow both in stature and character (and cheek!)

When air is warm and sultry,

while the water languid and unhurried,

When the easiest way to move 

is to synchronise-swim in the wake of the pen 

as the family silently and calmly swim along the canal.

Wallowing in the secret field drain we know - perfect way to cool down

Sweet sweet shade with a stream waiting at the bottom

Good to see that government health advice is being adhered to.....
