Just about bordering on odd, I see things through different eyes. The heading says it all - I live, I love, I craft, I am me...

I am...

I am ...

Sitting knitting chrimbly gift number three (go me!)

I am ...

Listening to the radio as we try to muffle the sounds of a continual barrage of fireworks (the dog and cats are not best pleased at the invasion).

I am ...

Writing, photographing and creating my chrimbly crafting tutorials which will be starting as from the first of December - Himself has muttered things under his breath about chrimbly arriving a month too early in our house!

I am ...
Quietly pleased that I have both my boys home (the last few weekends I seem to have only had one son or the other).

And you?

  1. Back home by the glorious fire thawing out my toes. Thinking I really ought to be making some bits and pieces for Yuletide gifting. x

  2. Ooh, I'd forgotten about the Crafting December posts! Thanks for the reminder. Only 24 or so days to go before 1 December!!!! No pressure eh? Fireworks extra noisy tonight; hopefully they will soon stop as it must nearly be bedtime for little ones, well it is for me!

  4. I'd not forgotten about the Crafting posts & was also wondering about the numbers. Are you going to let us in on how we are going about the crafty bit, as I need to get ready.
Still not settling & must really get my butt into gear or the last half of the year will have passed me by in a blur. Hope the weekend is going well & take care.

  6. A lovely evening, not counting the furries dislike of the fireworks. Looking very cosy. I like the idea of the crafting tutorials. I'll look forward to them. We've just been watching the fireworks from the window. Lily is not a fan either. X

  9. I am - deeply impressed by all your crafty activity :)

I am - wondering why the heck it has taken all week to clean up the caravan from our trip away and mildly irritated with myself that I still have boxes of 'stuff' laying around the dining room where I trip over them multiple times a day. First World problems.

  10. Looking forward to your Christmas tutorials. You sound so snug and cosy knitting your presents in front of the fire. I had wondered how Moss would take the fireworks. Ours have not been too close thankfully. xx

  12. This was going to be a year not madly crocheting last minute woolly hats for everyone but then I saw your photo and thought, heck, what else would I be doing? J :-)

  13. You look so cosy by your fire with your knitting. We just recently moved into our new home so I haven't really given any thoughts to Christmas. Too busy getting the gardens sorted out!
    Have a good week.

  14. I feel so sorry for animals at this time of year with all the bangs from fireworks. I wouldn't mind if it was just one day a year, as it used to be, but Bonfire Night seems to go on for a month here. Archie's terrified of all the noise. It sounds like you've got Christmas under control, I must admit that I've only given it a fleeting thought so far, I must crack on with my lists.

  15. You look very cosy there...and I love the word chrimbly :) Keeping cosy here too, and trying to decide which crafty thing to do tonight....patchwork, knitting or crochet?! Looking forward to your chrimbly crafting. Have a great week.
