Just about bordering on odd, I see things through different eyes. The heading says it all - I live, I love, I craft, I am me...

Never too late

I'm numbingly tired, so only popping in to say hi ...

...and how are you?

...and are you taking care of yourselves?

I saw this the other day and thought I would share it with you - just in case it was just what you needed xx

Never too late and never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream

I am still weaving - both gifts and stories and I love that two intertwine and become one. Really love it.

I'll pop back soon, just need to get the next 8 days or so wrapped up then I can relax - promise, xx

  2. Busy, busy girl, but you must make time for two things - taking Moss for a walk and breathing out, and of course you can do them both at the same time ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿพ

    1. Moss is my link to reality - she seems to know when I need to get out and breathe - so we often break off during the workshops, my excuse being - that she needs to go out - but it is me that needs the air x

  3. I agree with that statement. I'm almost tempted to include 'Find a daily challenge'... It's a lovely picture of your loom. I sometimes feel tempted to have a go but I've so much other stuff I would like to do! At the moment a daily chocolate from my Advent Calendar is making me smile! xx

  4. You reminded me of my dearly departed friend Annie, who moved to Wales from London, and spun, did lots of weaving and knitted. I have an inkle-type loom of hers . . . I am glad you are getting so much pleasure from yours.

    1. I find the methodical and rhythmic movement quite 'mindful' - although there must be another word for it and yes, I am enjoying it greatly (I think escapism is another good way of saying what I get from it)

  5. There is a new thread on downsized forum..Three Things...
So many of us are feeling overwhelmed..listing the hopefully three things you have done that day..or plan to do...and the help and support from others.. is a great help

  6. I too like that statement. Think a dog would be great for taking a break but DH has to be the one I drag out. Take care & we'll all be waiting here till you can relax again. Huge hugs from down under.

    1. We were talking about this last night, the dog's needs force you to get out of the house and walk and both you and the dog benefit from it - Moss has been a 'life saver' and I'm not exaggerating!

  7. Saying so apt but good to read as it makes one think about it. Glad the weaving is 'weaving' its magic and having a soothing, calming effect after a hectic day of workshops. Good old Moss, needing walks!! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿฆด๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŒฒ

    1. Moss had a day off yesterday and took Himself for a massive walk - she did nothing but snooze all afternoon!

  8. Weaving, ooh lovely! I like the sight of a bobbin. Must be the Lancashire lass in me! (My mam used to do a lot of weaving when I was little). Hope that your will share your creations. Lulu x
