Just about bordering on odd, I see things through different eyes. The heading says it all - I live, I love, I craft, I am me...

Did you see it!??!

Was it just me?
Did any of you notice in between the phwoooorrrr moments of delicious long-haired-hero-action....

...The drippy queen's knitted capelet??

A knitting phwoooorrr....!
Oh...so it was just me then.

Back to fantasy then....phwooooorrrr!

Oh by the way - there was another capelet - this time a lady in waiting. Not sure of the historic correctness of the costumes and fabrics - but who cares!

So, in the interest of all things knitting and thanks to Ravelry - there are similar capes here, here, here, and here.

And the programme? The rather good 'The Last Kingdom' on the BBC, based on a book by Bernard Cornwell.

  1. Oh yes, I'm watching it .... Missed the knitting though, must have had my eyes fixed elsewhere, will watch out for it next week....

  2. Yes, I did notice them. Like the last two in your links best. I gather you are rather enjoying the Last Kingdom.........................................!! xx

  3. I haven't watched it yet - I have recorded it! - I will be looking out for the knitting now though, so I hope that I don't get distracted!!! xx

  4. I did not watch it and suspect I would have missed the knitting too as I always do something whilst the TV is one, eg crochet, hand sewing etc!

  5. Ooops! I'm not sure what you are even talking about, but yes I do notice knitting, quilting and crafty things in all sorts of things. Have a good week and take care.

  6. I missed the knitting in this programme even though I was 'watching'; I was really half watching and crocheting at the same time.

  7. Once again I have no idea what is trending :-} It all looks a bit too dark, brooding and long for me.

I do remember putting all the LOTR films on pause so I could scrutinise quilting details on some of the garments though :-)
