Was it just me?
Did any of you notice in between the phwoooorrrr moments of delicious long-haired-hero-action....
...The drippy queen's knitted capelet??
A knitting phwoooorrr....!
Oh...so it was just me then.ok.
Back to fantasy then....phwooooorrrr!
Oh by the way - there was another capelet - this time a lady in waiting. Not sure of the historic correctness of the costumes and fabrics - but who cares!
So, in the interest of all things knitting and thanks to Ravelry - there are similar capes here, here, here, and here.
Sigh.
And the programme? The rather good 'The Last Kingdom' on the BBC, based on a book by Bernard Cornwell.
Oh yes, I'm watching it .... Missed the knitting though, must have had my eyes fixed elsewhere, will watch out for it next week....
ReplyDeleteYes, I did notice them. Like the last two in your links best. I gather you are rather enjoying the Last Kingdom.........................................!! xx
ReplyDeleteI haven't watched it yet - I have recorded it! - I will be looking out for the knitting now though, so I hope that I don't get distracted!!! xx
ReplyDeleteI did not watch it and suspect I would have missed the knitting too as I always do something whilst the TV is one, eg crochet, hand sewing etc!
ReplyDeleteOoops! I'm not sure what you are even talking about, but yes I do notice knitting, quilting and crafty things in all sorts of things. Have a good week and take care.
ReplyDeleteI missed the knitting in this programme even though I was 'watching'; I was really half watching and crocheting at the same time.
ReplyDeleteOnce again I have no idea what is trending :-} It all looks a bit too dark, brooding and long for me.
ReplyDeleteI do remember putting all the LOTR films on pause so I could scrutinise quilting details on some of the garments though :-)
